In Connected by Safety we believe that everyone can make an alert in time, we just must be alert, know who to call and make sure that our communication works.
A call in time can save more than one life.
Instilling a culture of safety and early warning from childhood helps to build a safer society.
For this, we design educational game workshops where we work on:
Children learn how and with whom to communicate and have the opportunity to meet representatives of the different civil protection organizations and security and emergency agencies.
Through games we promote the development of children’s cognitive and creative abilities.
Through the playful experience in collaboration with representatives of security agencies that join us in the workshop, we promote exploration and invention as transferable skills to other social instances.
Some of the concepts that are worked on during the activity in the classrooms:
Our volunteer program consists of collaborators from each country participating in workshops, sharing their specific knowledge about effective communication. In these workshops, a virtuous circle is generated, where all participants – girls, boys, teachers, security agents and volunteers – interact through games, while teaching and learning at the same time. This generates meaningful bonds between them and also between the organizations they represent.
Dear Sirs and Madams,
With our utmost consideration,
We are pleased to contact you in order to invite you to participate in the current consecutive edition of the educational program “Connected for Security.”
Since its inception in 2012, this initiative carried out by the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) and FORO 21 – Educational Content Producer – with the support of the Motorola Solutions Foundation has reached 43,600 boys and girls from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. It has also involved the participation of more than 131 public force agencies from different countries.
The proposal consists of educational workshops held in primary schools and coordinated by experts in non-formal education, lasting for an hour and a half. Through playful dynamics, the workshops engage students aged between 8 and 10 in discussions about preventing public cases involving human life or rights violations, and how they can raise timely alerts by communicating appropriately with the government agencies available to the population for such purposes.
The results obtained in previous editions of the program have been highly satisfactory. Public Forces (Health Agencies, Firefighters, Police, Civil Defense, among others) that have participated express gratitude for the opportunity to connect with the community through an educational activity. Children undergo an enriching experience that places them as protagonists in an unbiased relationship: their interaction with Public Forces, establishing a connection with their daily tasks and their role as citizens.
In this regard, we invite you to participate in these workshops with the aim of sharing your functions and responsibilities with the students; fostering an enriching experience that positions you as protagonists in an unbiased relationship.

We look forward to a positive response.
Dear Management Team,
Greetings!
We are pleased to reach out to you with an invitation to take part in the ongoing consecutive edition of the educational program “Connected for Security.”
Since its inception in 2012, this initiative, carried out by the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science, and Culture (OEI) and FORO 21 – Producer of Educational Content – with the support of the Motorola Solutions Foundation, has successfully reached 43,600 boys and girls from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru.
The program has also received endorsements from the Ministries of Education of Argentina, the Ministries of Education and Interior of Chile, the Ministry of Interior of Peru, the Coordinating Ministry of Security of Ecuador, the Ministry of Defense of Colombia, among others.
The concept revolves around educational workshops led by experts in non-formal education, lasting an hour and a half, where engaging playful activities are used to work with students aged 8 to 10 on the prevention of public cases involving human life or rights violations. It also guides them on how to timely alert authorities by communicating effectively with the government agencies available for such purposes.
Various public forces (Health Agencies, Firefighters, Police, Civil Defense, among others), along with volunteers from Motorola Solutions, are invited to actively participate in each of these workshops. The goal is to share their roles and responsibilities with the children, creating an enriching experience that places them as protagonists in an unbiased connection.
We would love to visit your school and bring our commitment to the education of future generations to your community.
Feel free to explore our official website, where you’ll find videos of the activities carried out over the years: www.conectadosporlaseguridad.com
Looking forward to a positive response.
